Fortuna International Professional Qualification post

Fortuna International Strengthens the Professional Qualification of Its Specialists

In August 2026, specialists from Fortuna International successfully completed their annual recertification training in Working at Heights in Bulgaria. The training represents another important step in the company’s ongoing commitment to maintaining a high level of professional competence and safety when performing specialised work on board vessels.

Fortuna International places particular emphasis on the continuous professional development of its team. Regular training, practical preparation and annual qualification assessments enable the company’s specialists to maintain consistently high standards of quality and safety when carrying out specialised maritime and technical operations.

The Fortuna International team completed the Working at Heights course at the professional training centre “WINDY BG” in Bulgaria. The programme was designed to strengthen both theoretical knowledge and practical skills required for the safe performance of work at height.

The course included comprehensive theoretical and practical training. During the theoretical sessions, specialists studied key safety requirements, the correct use of personal protective equipment, fall protection systems and the requirements applicable to equipment used when working at height.

Practical training was conducted at a specialised facility of the Bulgarian Maritime Qualification Centre, where participants were able to practise essential procedures and techniques in conditions designed to closely replicate real working environments.

Particular attention was given to rope access techniques and the safe use of rope systems, fall arrest and protection equipment, carabiners and other specialised safety equipment.

Following the successful completion of the course, Fortuna International specialists confirmed their professional qualifications and received the relevant certificates.

Annual recertification is an integral part of Fortuna International’s professional development policy. The company consistently invests in the knowledge and skills of its specialists, recognising that a high level of professional competence is directly connected with the quality of services provided and the trust of its clients.

For Fortuna International, professionalism is not only built on experience. It is strengthened through continuous development, practical training and the regular confirmation of professional competencies. This approach allows the company to provide reliable, safe and high-quality maritime services to its clients worldwide.
